La princesse mourra en couches après la naissance d’un fils mort-né. L’espoir du trône britannique s’est envolé pour le veuf. Ce dernier trouvera un autre trône et une épouse française et aura un énorme impact généalogique dans les familles princières d’Europe.
Le Roi George IV a eu de nombreuses maitresses et comme souvent on lui a prété de nombreux enfants mais rien d’officiel.
